President's Message
Hello everyone!
Happy Spring! We had a wonderful turnout for our April chapter meeting. I want to thank Russ Olson with PIMCO for sharing a great message about building resilient portfolios in the current environment and for PIMCO’s long-standing partnership with our chapter.
We have some fantastic events coming up over the next month that I’m sure you won't want to miss.
First is our Member & Partner Appreciation event on May 13th. We’ll be back at a Barons game this year, and we’re excited for a great day of lunch, baseball, and good company.
Next up, I know we are all looking forward to our May presentation and update from Anoop Mishra of the Birmingham Branch of the Atlanta Federal Reserve. Anoop will be speaking to us at The Federal Reserve on May 21st. We’ll be back upstairs for Anoop’s presentation, and we ask that everyone please be seated in the conference room at noon.
Finally, on the afternoon of the 21st, we have a NexGen event scheduled with the Alabama Young CPAs Society. We’ll be gathering at Cahaba Brewing from 4 pm – 6 pm.
We’ll take our summer break in June and July so I really hope to see everyone at all the events we have scheduled for May!
Be sure to mark your calendars!
